What is Webex?
WebEx is an easy way to share ideas with anyone, anywhere.
It combines real-time desktop sharing with phone conferencing so everyone sees the same thing while the host talks. You will see the host's screen and hear their voice. You see what they see. You will hear what they say. You can use a phone, or a headset to talk to the host, while everyone listens. Chat, however, is how most communication will be done, while the host speaks and explains.
How do I log in to a class?
The log in instructions are located above. However, you can also:
- Go to: http://talkspot.webex.com and chose the demo you would like to attend.
- Click "Join" on the right side of the page.
- A blue window titled, "Audio Conference" will appear. We recommend selecting "Use Computer Headset" from the bottom of the box, then select "Call Using Computer".
- You may use the phone if this is your preference. It will require you call and listen through a phone, whereas the headset can be heard through headphones or computer speakers. The headset option will also allow for a microphone and can be used in smaller classes.
What if I'm not available when the class is in session?
Don't worry! You can get live assistance, during normal business hours, by clicking on the CHAT button in the top-right corner of the screen. If need be, we will happily begin a live demo, just for you. We can also schedule them, if you fill out the questions in the top-right corner of this page. We will schedule a live demo for you, at a time that suits your schedule. Just let us know when is good for you! Finally, you can always see the archived presentations on the right side of this page.
