There is no easy answer to this question. Like it or not, you are going to need to read the manual that came with your camera. Generally speaking, you need to get the picture from your camera onto your computers hard drive, so that it can be uploaded to our server. You cannot display any image on your webpage that is not on our server (or, some other internet server). Most cameras use memory cards. There are a few different options for transferring your pictures from the memory card in your camera to your computer. There are adapters, usually available for under $50, that will allow you to plug your memory card into a USB port on your computer. If you use one of these, the memory card to your camera will look like an additional hard drive on your computer. This is usually the easiest option. Once you have inserted one of these memory card adapters into an USB port on your computer, you will be able to upload directly from your camera to Talkspot.

A logo is no different than any other image. If you can convert your logo to a standard image file, then you can put it onto your webpages, just like any other picture.

When pictures are stored on your computer's hard drive, they are stored in a file. All files on your computer have a filename, the last part of which is a file type. For instance, Microsoft Word files all have the filetype Doc , Excel documents have the filetype xls . Pictures have several different filetypes, including jpg, gif, tif, and bmp . Each filetype corresponds to a different type of picture compression. What is compression? Each picture on your hard drive consumes a certain amount of space. Generally speaking, the higher the resolution of a picture, the more hard drive space it consumes. To put it in the language that the camera industry uses, a 8 megapixel image uses much more hard disk space than a 2 megapixel image. To save space on your hard drive, different engineers have come up with different ways to compress pictures. Some of these techniques preserve the picture quality, and some lose it. Some, such as JPG allow you to control the amount of compression. With more compression, the picture loses quality, but gets a lot smaller. At Talkspot, our personal favorite is JPG. We recommend that you convert all images on your site to be JPG. Here's a video on working with image compression: Click here to watch a short video. A photo gallery is a grouping of images that are organized in a specific order and displayed in many different ways, on any page, in any location on that page. To create a gallery click on the "Galleries" icon from the TalkSpot editor window. For more information about the photo galleries, or the photo gallery tool, once the tool has been opened, there is a "Help" button at the bottom right. Clicking this will offer both written help, as well as video assistance, specific to photo galleries.
